What they do at Rainbow

They inspire and motivate

At The Rainbow Centre they inspire and support children with Cerebral Palsy and adults with a stroke, MS and Parkinson’s disease and their families. Through a system of learning called Conductive Education they encourage and teach our children/participants to take an active role in their own development. The children/participants learn new ways to become active and happy individuals who are proud of their own achievements and ready for life’s challenges. They focus on what you CAN DO and inspire all children/participants reach their full potential.

The Lewis Andrews Foundation

The Lewis Andrews Foundation

Wings and Waves are proud to be associated with the Lewis Andrews Foundation.
Lewis was a talented young Triathlon whose life was cut short by a tragic accident.
The aim of the LAF is to allow two young athletes per year the opportunity to compete at the top of their game. A fund of £2,000 per person will cover entry, travel, lodgings and sustenance as well as kit for one season. The fund will be controlled by a small committee of officers from the LAF, and the committee is now inviting athletes under the age of 23 to submit a CV for consideration  with your race record of achievements to date and a brief overview of why you fell you should be considered. The committee are looking for young people who can go on and perform to the highest levels, but need the help of the LAF to achieve their dreams.
